In Loving Memory of Layken Jade Phizacklea (16/01/2004 - 22/04/2011)

Our Layken was taken from us on Good Friday 2011 at the tender age of 7 years.  She was a fun loving & special little Angel with a wonderful sense of humour.  She was very popular amongst her peers and will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.  We miss her overwhelming presence in our lives.  Our family could never and will never be the same without her.  In her short time on earth she filled our lives with love, laughter and immense joy that is beyond measure.  Thank you precious girl, for all the things both big and small you have taught us!

If there's chocolates up in Heaven:

If there's chocolates up in Heaven,

Lord please select a box for us,

Place them in Layken's arms

and tell her they're from us.

Tell her we love her and miss her,

and when she turns to smile,

place a kiss upon her cheek

and hold her for awhile.

Because remembering her is easy,

we do it every day,

but there's an ache within our hearts,

that will never go away!

Little Angels:

 When God calls little children

to dwell with him above,

We mortals sometimes question

the wisdom of His love,

For no heartache compares with

the death of one small child,

Who does so much to make our world

seem wonderful and mild.

Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to his fold.

So He picks a rosebud

before it can grow old.

God knows how much we need them and so He takes but few, to make the land of Heaven more beautiful to view.

Believing this is difficult

still somehow we must try.

The saddest word mankind know

will always be "Goodbye".

So when a child departs

we who are left behind,

must realize God loves children,

Angels are hard to find.
